Professor Rosemary Nkemdilim Ogu (nee Obaze)

Dear Noble Ladies, I am Professor Rosemary Nkemdilim Ogu (nee Obaze), and I seek for your vote as National President-Elect of the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria in 2021-2023 Biennium.
This is my Vision. – To support the National President, take the association to greater heights through Organized Innovation, Greater Scale-Up, Unity and Networks.

Organized Innovation

We are an association of ladies with beauty, brains, and brawn. Each state is unique in its approach to healing (caring) with the love of a mother. We need to continue with more efficient ways of implementing our innovative ideas. I pledge to support the promotion of our collective ideas for greater impact. Working together, we will do great things.

Greater Scale Up

From the Gestational Diabetes Mellitus project, the Health Insurance successes , our stand against Violence Against Women and Girls, to the mentorship programs, each MWAN state chapter is working to make life better for women and girls. I wish to further encourage the adoption of best practices and peer review mechanisms in similar projects to attract more external funding for impact.I pledge to facilitate the scale-up of all these impactful projects across state chapters so we can resound with greater impact across the country.
Unity and Networks:
Our network influences our net worth. I pledge to serve with unity as a sacred mandate, fostering stronger networks across associate members, young doctors, the energetic middle-agers, and the elders’ forum of our Association. No one will be left behind. Indeed, we are Greater Together!
